If you just love to self-sabotage, here are 14 excellent ways to make sure your ADD or ADHD is at its worst:

1. Get fewer than 8 hours of sleep if you're an adult, or fewer than 10 if you're a kid. Your brain benefits more than any other part of your body when you sleep. Sleep puts everything back in order. So be sure not to get enough if you want to keep that brain good and scrambled!

2. Eat lots of low-fiber, white fluffy carbs, especially sugar! People with AD/HD tend to have erratic blood sugar. Lots of low-nutrient, low-fiber crappy carbs will help keep your glucose on that high/low roller coaster all day long!

3. Stay away from protein. Protein helps neurons communicate, increases the effectiveness of nutrients and medications, and stabalizes blood sugar.

4. Drink little to no water. Water is needed in the brain for neurons to communicate with each other. We wouldn't want that!

5. Don't exercise. Movement increases circulation. And circulation helps blood carry oxygen to brain cells. Not only that, but certain movements actually activate parts of the brain. Yeash, no chaos-loving ADDer wants that to happen!

6. Stay inside with all the windows shut tight. Fresh air delivers far more oxygen than indoor air, and is almost always less polluted. In studies, ADDers who spend more time outdoors, do consistently better than those who don't get outside for at least an hour per day.

7. Draw the blinds too. Some studies show that some cases of ADD and ADHD are directly linked to a natural-light defficiency. Humans were meant to see sunlight for 16 hours per day. Most of us live by artifical light much of the time.

8. Forget to take that multivitamin. Whether ADDers metabolize nutrients faster, or have an inborn defficiency, many come up short on several vitamins and minerals that are needed for optimum brain function.

9. Stay clear of flax and fish. Among the lacking essentials is often Omega 3 oils, specifically DHA. It is typically found in flax and in fix, as well as in walnut oil and various other sources.

10. Sneeze, sniffle and keep those eyes nice and red... or black. Dust, mold, pollen, animal dander, synthetics, household cleaners, pets, or even food allergies can all mimic ADD and ADHD, or make these conditions significantly worse. Signs of allergies include brain fog, under-eye circles, headaches, itchy or gritty eyes, ear discomfort, sneezing, itching and dry or irritated skin.

11. Ignore snores, tonsils and sinuses. Clogged sinuses don't always mean a stuffy nose. Sinus cavities are behind the eyes, cheeks, and other areas of the face. They are the ventilation system. If they are clogged, we don't get as much oxygen. Fatigue and brain fog follow. Snoring, sleep apnea and tonsilitis can cause the same.

12. Don't brush your teeth. Dental bacteria can cause chronic infections in the sinuses and ears, as well as other places in the body. Ear infections also cause brain fog.

13. Nix quiet, alone time. The ADD brain is finely tuned to pick up on everything. It's why we get so easily distracted. And why massages, yoga and meditation can work wonders. Staying in chaos, noise and crowds all day will ensure maximum AD/HD.

14. Watch lots of television and play loads of video games! The lights and electrical currents, especially fast-moving, flashing images, cause a minor short-circuit in the brain of ADDers, leading to exhaustion, cognitive numbing, and/or emotional meltdowns. TV, computer usage and video games have also been linked to depression.
