There are definitely some very frustrating moments for those of us who live with ADD or ADHD. But there are also some wonderful perks to having ADD. The label itself is only important in helping us find information online, books, like-minded and similarly challenged and talented people. In reality, it’s very likely just a variation of “normal,” and a necessary one. Without AD/HD the world would be missing many great works of art and inventions. So let’s remember to celebrate our ADD and be thankful for all it has given us.

Ritalin, Concerta, Adderall, Vyvanse, Focalin. Are they really much different and are any of them safe? It’s a little disconcerting that the FDA called for a black box warning on all ADHD stimulant medications , and that the American Heart Association has urged all kids to get a cardiac exam before getting a prescription for ADHD medication.
