There are a number of very useful tools to help those with ADHD and ADD manage their daily lives. The tools that non-ADD folks use are often inappropriate for us. Either too simple, too complex or just a poor fit. When looking for specifics, always seek out those tools that are either made for or recommended by other ADDers.

1. A simple to use pocket-sized digital clock with a countdown timer, stop watch, the ability to set at least 16 different alarms, and, ideally, the ability to snooze those alarms.
2. A time tracking sheet with pen.
3. A voice recorder.
4. A pad or with pen, or organizer--digital or paper, with a place to take notes, a calendar, essential phone numbers and other information.
5. A stack of existing and blank "To do" cards, in a rubber band of container.
